This ritual is most effective when performed with a clear mind and a quiet space. You may choose to work with all four candles in a single session or spread them across several days, returning to the practice as your intention deepens. Before you begin, gather a fireproof candle holder, a lighter or matches, and a journal if you wish to record your intentions.
- Clear your space by tidying the area where you will work. Open a window briefly if possible, or use sound — a singing bowl, a bell, or a few slow claps — to move stagnant energy out of the room.
- Sit quietly for a moment and take three slow, deep breaths. Let go of the urgency or worry that may have brought you to this practice. You are here to invite, not to demand.
- Place your candles in their holders in front of you. Arrange them in the order you will light them: brown first, then green, then orange, then gold.
- Light the brown candle first. As the flame catches, speak aloud or silently: I am grounded. I am stable. I build my prosperity on a solid foundation. Sit with this flame for a moment before continuing.
- Light the green candle and say: I am open to abundance. I welcome financial growth into my life with gratitude and trust.
- Light the orange candle and say: I take inspired action. I recognize opportunity and I meet it with energy and confidence.
- Light the gold candle last and say: I deserve success. My efforts are valuable. I step into my power and allow prosperity to flow to me.
- Sit with all four candles burning for as long as feels right — even five or ten minutes of quiet, focused intention is enough. You may meditate, journal, or simply breathe and visualize what a more abundant life feels like in your body.
- To close the ritual, extinguish the candles gently — do not blow them out if you prefer to preserve the energy of the flame; use a snuffer or the back of a spoon. Thank yourself for showing up, and release the intention by saying: It is done. I trust the process.
- Repeat this ritual as often as you feel called to, using a fresh candle each time or continuing with the same ones until they have burned completely.
