To use your Pure Copal Bundle, hold one end of the bundle and carefully light the tip using a lighter or match, allowing it to catch and develop a small flame. After a few seconds, gently blow out the flame so the bundle begins to smolder and release its warm, resinous smoke. Hold or place the bundle over a heat-safe, fire-resistant dish or abalone shell to catch any falling ash as you move through your space. Work slowly through each room, allowing the smoke to drift into corners, doorways, and areas where the energy feels heavy or stale — this is a simple, intentional way to clear and reset your space before or after significant events, during a move into a new home, or whenever things feel like they need a fresh start.
Always burn your copal bundle in a well-ventilated area — open a window or door to allow air to circulate and give the energy somewhere to move. Never leave a smoldering bundle unattended, and keep it well away from children, pets, curtains, and anything flammable. When you are finished, press the lit end firmly into sand, soil, or a fireproof dish to fully extinguish it, and allow it to cool completely before setting it down or storing it away.
