- Prepare your space. Clear the area around you of clutter and distractions. You may wish to cleanse your space with sound, smoke, or simply by opening a window and setting a conscious intention for the ritual. Dim the lights if possible, as soft lighting encourages inward focus.
- Set your intention. Hold the unlit candle in both hands. Close your eyes and bring your awareness to the space between your brows. Breathe slowly and set a clear intention — this might be clarity, deeper intuition, releasing mental confusion, or opening to spiritual guidance.
- Light the candle with presence. Place the candle in a secure holder on a stable, heat-safe surface. As you light it, speak your intention aloud or silently. Watch the flame for a moment and allow it to anchor your awareness in the present.
- Meditate or work with affirmations. Sit comfortably with your eyes softly closed or gently gazing at the flame. You may repeat an affirmation such as: I trust my inner vision. I see clearly. My intuition guides me with wisdom and grace. Allow thoughts to pass without holding onto them, returning your focus to the breath and the space between your brows.
- Close your ritual. When the candle has burned out naturally, take a moment to sit in gratitude. Write down any impressions, images, or insights that arose during the ritual. Trust whatever came through, even if it feels subtle.
